- Lime juice
- 1 oz
- Agave syrup
- 1 barspoon
- Pasilla sauce
- 2 dashes
- Grapefruit bitters
Glass: Rocks
Garnish: Half-salt rim, lime wheel
Build
- Shake all ingredients with ice until very cold.
- Double-strain into a chilled rocks glass over fresh ice.
- Half-salt rim is optional but encouraged.
Margarita with the stabilizers off: full ounce of lime, full ounce of agave, a barspoon of pasilla sauce that mirrors Ayuuk's own Mixe chile, and grapefruit bitters to lift.
