APPEARANCE. Deep amber, almost mahogany.

NOSE. Bitter chinotto orange, oak-moss damp forest, soft cacao.

PALATE. Citrusy, opulent, zesty, lush, mystical. Long lingering bitter, cinchona-clean.

Process

700 mL · 24% ABV · Case of 6. Created by Simone Caporale. Chinotto (small bitter citrus from myrtle-leaved orange tree — zesty brightness with herbal edge). Oak Moss (earthy lichen — woody, musky, faint amber warmth). Curaçao Orange (complex, zesty bitter peel native to Curaçao). Cinchona (tropical-tree bark, famous for quinine — clean, medicinal bitterness). Cacao (dry, bitter chocolate from roasted seeds, no excess sweetness).
